What does iData Destruction shred?
We shred paper, cds, dvds, x-rays, cassettes, video cassettes, portable storage media and hard disc drives. Our state-of-the-art shedders use cross-cut shredding technology, which break up your confidential materials into confetti-sized pieces, so they can never be reconstructed. At the end of each shredding service, we also provide customers with a Certificate of Destruction to confirm the destruction, thereby guaranteeing the safe disposal of all confidential materials.
Do I get a Certificate of Destruction?
Yes. A Certificate of Destruction detailing the shredding event is issued by post or email after every visit. This certificate should be retained as it forms part of your organisations compliance with GDPR.
What types of containers do you provide?
We provide a variety of containers – sacks (with a capacity of 20kg), lockable 80 ltr security consoles, wheelie bins with paper slots and locks (with capacities of 140ltr, 240ltr and 360ltr), and stillages (more suitable for industrial shredding applications). As all our customers are different we tailor our service to your individual organisations requirements.
Do you provide regular and one-time services?
Yes. Our One Time Services are great for periodic archive purges, while our Regular Services mean we can protect your organisations data with weekly, fortnightly or monthly collections.
What kind of collection vehicles do you have?
We have a variety of vehicles to facilitate the different collection locations and quantities of our clients. Our vans are used when collection quantities are small or if access is limited. Our trucks are used for tasks when collection quantities are larger. Some vehicles are equipped with tail lifts to improve loading times.
How much does it cost?
For our one time services we charge either by the number of items (sacks or boxes) we shred or for the overall mass (kg). Discounts are available for larger collection quantities. Yes. As part of our range of services we provide the option to see your confidential waste be shredded. Post shredding we issue a Certificate of Destruction assisting your organisations compliance with the Data Protection Act.
